When I first set out to build this course, I had one goal in mind: make it enjoyable for the average golfer!
A public course should be reasonably priced, playable within four hours, and designed for the average, 18 to 24 handicap golfer, and that's exactly what you'll find at Mountain View!
Golfers today demand excellent conditions as well, so most of our time and effort goes into course maintenance. Our fairways are 419 Bermuda and our Bermuda, TIF Dwarf greens are the best. I'm picky about my greens and it shows!
Set atop the ridges of the Appalachian foothills, each hole offers you a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Our plush fairways are relatively free of hazards, and large, soft greens make accepting targets. A lot of work went into creating the mounds and bunkers that surround each green, and I know you'll appreciate the effort.
After your round, relax and enjoy the casual atmosphere at our 19th hole bar & grill. You'll find the latest golf equipment and apparel in our spacious pro shop, and our P.G.A certified staff is always ready to help improve your game.
